John Frymark
CEO
John Frymark is the Chief Executive Officer of BonaDent, bringing more than two decades of senior leadership experience and a strong record of commercial success. Known for strategic foresight and cross-functional leadership, John focuses on scaling operations, advancing portfolio innovation, and delivering long-term stakeholder value. Before joining BonaDent, he built a distinguished career in dental supply manufacturing, holding senior roles where he expanded market penetration, strengthened direct-to-consumer sales pipelines, and led major business transformations. Throughout his career, John has been recognized for connecting technical product development, investor relations, and high-impact commercial execution. As CEO, he draws on deep expertise in global market expansion and operational excellence to guide BonaDent’s strategic vision, champion next-generation innovation, and support sustainable growth. John is based in Seneca Falls, NY.
Bruce Bonafiglia, CDT
Director of Strategic Growth
As a young son to his dental technician father, Angelo, Bruce Bonafiglia always enjoyed spending time in the lab with Dad and admired the dental technician profession. Since officially joining the laboratory in 1975 as a Ceramist, Bruce became President of the company in 1986 when his father and founder, Angelo, retired. Bruce reached recognition as a Nationally Certified Dental technician in both Ceramics and Crown and Bridge Substructures. He has steadily charted BonaDent’s growth from 8 employees in a single laboratory to nearly 300 dental professionals within six lab divisions serving dentists across the United States. With laboratories in New York, South Carolina, and Florida, Bruce created the most technologically advanced and employee-friendly workplaces in the industry, which enables BonaDent to attract and retain the best people in the industry as well as create lab mentors that assist dentists on a daily basis. After 50 years with the company, and now in his role as Director of Strategic Growth, Bruce continues to work closely with his daughters, Daniele and Erin, along with the entire Executive Team, to build BonaDent into an industry leader known as the Anterior & Complex Case Specialists. The BonaDent family of labs continues to grow, proud to serve the dental community for years to come.
Erin Bonafiglia
Operations Manager
Erin received her Bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Hartford in 2003. Upon graduation, she joined her family business and is the youngest in the fourth generation of Bonafiglias to work in the dental laboratory. Following an internship with Jensen Industries, and Dale Carnegie Leadership Training, Erin went on to complete Mastering Aesthetics & Ceramics for the Advanced Dental Technician at New York University’s College of Dentistry. She has her Six Sigma Green Belt Training and has completed continuing education courses and training under some of the greatest leaders in the dental field such as Lee Culp, Willi Geller, Matt Roberts, Peter Pizzi, Michel and Pascal Magne, Oliver Tric, Al Hodges, Don Cornell and Terry McQuiston. She has extensive knowledge with All-on-X cases for Straumann, Biohorizons, Nobel and many other implant systems. Today Erin serves as Operations Manager at BonaDent.
Angelo Bonafiglia, CDT
Founder
Angelo is forever in our hearts.
“I came to Seneca Falls in 1947 to attend a wedding and never returned home to Philadelphia. I loved it here.” Angelo Bonafiglia opened his first dental laboratory in Seneca Falls in 1948. Angelo’s business grew steadily to where he opened a larger lab in 1954 in nearby Auburn, NY. Angelo received CDT certification in dentures, partials, crown and bridge, and ceramics in 1960, the first year that national certification took place. This coincided with the business continuing to expand and grow much as it does today. Angelo’s son Bruce bought the business from his father in 1986. Angelo was intimately involved in nearly every aspect of the business with his son and granddaughters until his passing in 2021.
